Despite all the gorgeous new varieties of roses my mom adds to her beautiful gardens, the wild magenta rose bush will always be my favorite. This painting was built up with layers of collage including handmade gelli prints and vintage hymnbook pages, and then delicately adorned with a beautiful rose painting on top.
